The Fitz Falcon Mystery

Frank the Falcon, our school mascot, always shows school PRIDE, but who is the mystery person behind Frank, and where can you find him? Let's find out! Having a mascot makes the students feel more energetic and engaged in school. Jesse Beck, an eighth grader, said, “I’m excited because having Frank as our Mascot means showing our school spirit!” Interestingly, our school did not have a mascot until recently. Ms. Chin noted that ”Fitz has had a mascot for about 5 years now.”

There was a process to picking Frank. Ms. Chin explained that Frank was carefully selected; it was a very secretive process. That makes us more curious to know when and how Frank was chosen! Sadly, Ms. Chin won’t be revealing who Frank is, but an interesting fact is that Frank is more than one person.

Our school has Frank the Falcon to show our school pride and spirit. Did you know that almost every school has a mascot? We are lucky to have a physical mascot that brings everyone together and that shows who we are as a school. Most schools do not have a physical mascot like Frank; they usually just have a picture of a mascot. Having a Fitz mascot is a big deal. Ms. Chin said that Frank “spreads positivity and engagement for the Falcons. Also, bringing up the school spirit to every Falcon in the school.” Watch out for Frank the Falcon at our next school activity and make sure to say hi!
