Stephen Curry has revolutionized the game in so many ways. One, he has incredible accolades. For example, Stephen Curry has won 2 MVPs, 4 championships, has been chosen for the All-Star team nine times, and most importantly, he is the all time leader in three-pointer shots. Curry has won just about every award you can win.
Although it's obvious that Curry is a great basketball player, perhaps even the best, some argue that LeBron James is better. However, in their head to head matchups, Steph Curry has swept Lebron James in the finals. In the 2018 Finals it was the Golden State Warriors vs the Cleveland Cavaliers. This matchup had been awaited because Lebron and Curry had been unstoppable. Lebron's Cavaliers had a good record of 50 wins and 32 loses. Where as Curry's Warriors had 58 wins and 24 losses. That year in the Finals the Warriors swept them 4-0. It was insane for Curry to defeat Lebron in such a dominant factor.
Another reason why Curry is better than Lebron, is because of Curry's finals record. Curry has a better finals record than Lebron. Curry's finals record is 4 wins and 2 loses. Lebron has the same wins but 2 more loses. This shows that even though Curry has not played in as many finals as Lebron, he is more efficient in the finals. Plus, the only reason Curry has not made it to the finals as many times as Lebron is because Lebron has been playing 6 more years than Curry. After Lebron retires Curry's numbers will exceed Lebrons.
The last reason Curry is better is because of better teammates. What I mean is that Lebron has had way more support throughout his career. Lebron has had 36 all-star players on his team and Curry has just had 13 all-star teammates. This shows that Curry had less of an advantage but he still made it work and won 4 rings with those teammates.
In conclusion, Stephen Curry is a better player because he has better accolades and has less of an advantage with his teammates. Curry changed the game with his offensive strategy. His pick and roll, handles, passing, and most importantly his shooting has really brought a new aspect to basketball that we have never seen before. His championships are exceptional, especially when taking in that he has only had 14 years, whereas Lebron has had 21. All in all, Curry is a better player who has had an incredible career and surprised the whole world, and changed the game.
