The Eternal Love: Is It Worth Your Time?

In the first episode, a girl wakes up after trying to commit suicide but seems to be completely different. Instead of being called a formal name, she asks for her maid to call her “Tan.” Her likings are also different, which confuses her maid. The next scene shows the 8th prince and his bodyguard got into a fight in the forest with people asking for the “Imperial Token.” As they cannot take the token, they see the 8th prince walking near a wall and seeing Tan climbing over a wall and falling down. But when she falls down, she returned to her formal self and wasn’t as lively as before. Near the end of this episode, it shows a flashback with Tan running away from strange people and is suddenly transferred into the world of Dongyue.

This show is about how the 8th prince, Mo Lian Cheng, was forced to marry Qu Tan Er, who was already in love with Mo Lian Cheng’s elder brother, Mo Yi Huai. When Qu Tan Er tries to commit suicide before the wedding, she wakes up with the soul of Qu Xiao Tan, who is from the modern world. Whenever one of them falls unconscious or tells a lie that is incompatible with the feelings they hold in their heart, the soul in control of Qu Tan Er’s body switches. Even though Qu Tan Er’s body has the same outer appearance as Xiao Tan’s original body, they are both completely different. While Tan Er is quiet and refined, Xiao Tan is loud, mischievous, and bold. Although all of this crazy stuff happens, Mo Lian Cheng still falls in love with Xiao Tan.
