After Avengers Endgame and Spiderman: Far From Home, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has ended Phase 3, however it has led to much excitement and curiosity as fans ask: what's next?

The MCU had announced that they would launch their Phase 4 with Disney+ original series that would include WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…?, Hawkeye, and many more. WandaVision was the first series to begin streaming and two episodes were released on Friday, January 15, 2021, kicking off Phase 4. After those two episodes, an episode was released every Friday on the streaming service Disney+.

The show will follow up with the aftermath of Avengers Endgame after we see old man Captain America towards the end of the movie. We see Captain America Steve Rogers go back in time to return the infinity stones and stay in the past to live out a life he was never able to. We see in the movie that he hands over his iconic shield to Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie.

Sam, who will be accompanied by James Buchanan Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier played by Sebastian Stan, will have to follow in the footsteps of Captain America as we will see many new and old faces in this new series. We can see in the trailer that there will be a return of Baron Zemo, who last appeared in the movie Captain America: Civil War, with a more comic accurate suit. He will wear a purple ski mask that is one of his most iconic and signature looks. We also see in the trailer the return of Agent 13, Peggy Carter’s niece Sharon Carter, who was an ally to Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, and Bucky Barnes.

The trailer does an amazing job keeping the audience's’ senses heightened with the intense sounds and visuals of it. Along with the new comic accurate costume for Baron Zemo, we see Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes also get fresh, new looks.

Sam Wilson will still have his more mechanical version of the suit with metal wings, however the red and white colors of it will match the comics. We see Bucky will actually have shorter hair for the show and will wear a blue leather jacket vest that will not have a left sleeve so that his metal arm can be exposed.

In the trailer, we also see that Baron Zemo will make his return in order to finish what he had tried to accomplish in Captain America: Civil War by breaking up and getting rid of heroes. There is a new group and movement that is also shown called the Underground Liberated Totally Integrated Mobile Army To Unite Mankind, or U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M.

They are a terrorist group whose founder was dedicated to the elimination of all nationalism and national pride around the globe. We will also be introduced to a new character, the U.S. Agent, whose outfit matches Steve Rogers’ Captain America.

Both the sounds and the visuals in the trailer were amazing as it was released during the Superbowl and needed to capture the attention of the many viewers. The audience could really be captivated, as it is a cinematic masterpiece itself. There are many tight shot angles that show the intensity that the show will bring to its audience. In my previous trailer review for WandaVision, I had mentioned that the trailer had done an incredible job of not only making the show seem interesting to Marvel fans, but is displayed to an audience that enjoys watching a show with some mystery, thrillers, and in the fashion of a sitcom.

In this show, we can see by the trailer that it is more action packed that will most likely give Marvel fans the action and adventure that they want from their movies and shows.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be the second released Marvel series that will be exclusively streamed on Disney+ starting Friday, March 19, 2021.
