Are you looking for a collection of bangers? Well, you came to the right place. Filled with absolute classics, the album Brand New Eyes by Paramore was released in 2009. I was five years old when this album was released and it still gives me nostalgia. Paramore is an alternative rock/pop-punk band that makes exciting, emotional songs. With lyrics typically about heartbreak, healing from heartbreak, or having feelings for someone, the songs can be a good way to release. Although mostly featuring loud guitar playing and singing, the album has a few slower-paced, more emotional songs. Displaying catchy tunes, this album is sure to tug on your heartstrings and get you singing along to their exciting jams.

Hitting number one on the top rock billboard the day it was released, this album reached out to teens across the country. The title, Brand New Eyes, is an allusion to the change in perspective found through heartbreak. The order of the songs reflects how emotions shift as you progress through the process of moving on. Going from Ignorance, about the anger felt when someone leaves you, to Brick by Boring Brick, which is about breaking yourself down to build yourself back up. Being as emotional and hormonal as ever, teens have an easy time relating to this, even 12 years later.
