A girl is showering and seems like she's thinking about something very heavily. She's then shown in a car with three gangsters. They're heading to a carnival; the girl looks like she's being taken somewhere by the three men. When they're finally at their destination, a bridge, a girl in a pink blouse walks up to them and shows them a bag of a white powdered substance. They're doing a drug deal; all of a sudden, unwanted people show up.

This show deals with a young cop from a police academy named Lin Qiang (Lin Peng). Her parents were sadly murdered by a drug lord so the police force arranged for Lin Qiang to go undercover and collect evidence from this drug dealer. She soon meets a mysterious adopted son, Zhang Xianhe (Zheng Ye Cheng) of the current drug lord. She pretends to fall in love with him to obtain some information about the organization but soon feels bad about it. Xianhe is also in disbelief when he finally figures out who she is.

This show does boggle your mind in a good way. It includes good stuff such as crime, mystery, and romance. This show has 24 episodes so you can watch this show quite fast if you have a lot of free time. Unless you hate murder, blood, and drugs, this show is a must-watch. The main characters are amazing and the side characters also cling to your heart. Every single episode will make you hyped and it doesn't leave you unsatisfied. And since it's based on an actual drug case in 2009, you'll be shocked by the things that happened in China back then.
