David Dobrik Returns to Youtube

After a long 11-month hiatus of vlogging, social media personality and celebrity, David Dobrik has finally uploaded a new video on Youtube. David has been inactive on his main vlogging channel due to the onset of the pandemic. In his last video, he states, "Hey, guys! Due to COVID-19, it’s been basically impossible to film the stuff we would normally want to film..." he wrote. "You're going to have to bear with me on the vlogs for a little bit...Regular posts will be back as soon as quarantine is over..." Of course, it's almost a year later and quarantine is still not over, but David decided to finally return and post more frequently on different channels.

Although he had not posted on YouTube since March 2020, he was still extremely active on social media platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok, where the comments have been filled with questions about when he was going to start vlogging again. After much deliberation, he decided to come back to YouTube with a big bang!

On Monday, February 8th, 2021, David Dobrik posted a brand new video on his second channel titled “I BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE!! (2021)” showing off his $9.5 million dollar mansion in Los Angeles. He pointed out unique decor components, including a school water fountain that contains Hawaiian fruit punch, a theater room, and a life-size model of Iron Man’s suit. In addition to the unusual decorations in his new home, David also showed off his brand new studio inside the house, where he plans to film videos of his popular podcast, Views, featuring fellow YouTube and social media personality, Jason Nash. Because of this new step towards production for his podcast, David has now made a new YouTube channel specifically for all of his podcast content, which formerly hosted audio clips, but will now include studio videos, as well.

To conclude his newest video, he surprised his two assistants with brand new cars, in classic Dobrik style. He then teased that more videos will be coming up soon, and he will now post more frequently on YouTube. Although this is not the normal content that his fans are used to seeing on his channel, it’s cool to see what new ideas he comes up with. It is safe to say that David Dobrik is back and better than ever with content, and the viewers cannot wait to see what he has in store for the future!
