Korean BBQ HOUSE - 123 Astronaut Ellison S Onizuka St #302, Los Angeles, CA 90012

When I went to this low key Korean restaurant I ordered the BBQ Beef which included side dishes like, a bowl of rice cucumbers, miso soup, kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, and potato salad. The total price was around $16 with the drink and tip. With the food I ordered Iced Tea which was basically Arizona put into a cup of ice which was a bit disappointing. The tables where a bit small. My friends and I had trouble organizing our food around. This caused some discomfort as Korean BBQ is a group-oriented meal and we couldn't maneuver the plates. The rib eye beef was quite good as it was not too salty or sweet. The miso soup was disappointing and I only had a small sip. Other than that the combos were pretty delicious and in the would score them 7/10.

Daikokuya - 327 E 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012

The restaurant seemed to promote a lot of food but coming in at lunch was a bit disappointing. I ended up ordering a chicken combo as it seemed to be one of the only things that looked delicious to me. The service was good and the food was delectable. The salad that came along with it was sour and I only ate the top part. It was a bit disappointing that they only gave me one dumpling as it was delicious. Overall, I gave it a high review as the price for the food was cheap, around $7, which is pretty good for the amazing service and amount of food I recieved. 8/10.
