Well 2020 is a crazy year and it just got even crazier, McDonalds just announced that they will be collaborating with Travis Scott. Jacques Berman Webster II, aka Travis Scott, was born on April 30, 1991 in Houston, Texas. Travis Scott is a famous musician, a famous rapper, and is very popular right now in 2020. He has a huge number of hits, some of his well known songs include “Highest in the Room," “Sicko Mode,"Goosebumps,” and “Antidote." On April 23-25, 2020 Travis Scott had collaborated with popular game “Fortnite” to put on an in-game concert. The in-game concert was only about 15 minutes long and it got 12.3 million people to watch.

Travis Scott is the first celebrity to be featured at McDonalds, the only time Mcdonalds had collaborated with someone was with basketball legend Michael Jordan in 1992. When Michael Jordan and McDonalds first collaborated they introduced the sandwich, the “McJordan”. The “McJordan” had ¼ Lb pure beef, cheese, smoked bacon, barbecue sauce with onions, mustard, and pickles. McDonald’s U.S Chief Marketing Officer Morgan Flatley said, “This is the first time in nearly 30 years we’ve introduced a superstar’s name in our menu. We’re excited to bring the Travis Scott meal to a McDonalds near you”.

McDonalds finally has a new meal on their menu and this meal is only 6$! It is called the “Travis Scott meal.” It is a quarter pounder and it comes with cheese, bacon, lettuce, a medium order of french fries with barbecue sauce, and a sprite. Sadly the Travis Scott meal doesn’t come with a toy. This meal will only be available through October 4th.

Even though the “Travis Scott meal” doesn’t come with a toy, Travis Scott announced that he will be dropping merch. Travis Scott will also be designing merch for McDonald employees. Travis Scott confirmed that he will be selling 48 new items, this drop will include short-sleeves (48$), hoodies (88-128$), hats (44$), an action figure and life-size cutouts (65$), blankets (78$), chicken nugget body pillows (90$), ties (45$), basketballs (75$), jersey (120$), styrofoam cups (26$), rugs (250$), beanies (44$), pants (90-300$), shorts (72-250$), and tote bags (40-55$).
