This tv series follows the Stone family when they board Montego Air Flight 828. What seemed to be a normal flight with heavy turbulence was actually the opposite , the crew and passengers were relieved that they landed safe and sound but little did they know that in those couple hours, Everyone had fast-forwarded 5 years while they stayed the same age.

When they landed, they were informed that they have been presumed dead or missing. They had to mourn their loved ones who passed while over the 5 years they were gone. Also, someone completely rearranged all the goals and hopes and they have to adapt to the recent changes around them.

All the 828ers were given a second chance and with their new adaptations came a new dark realization. They realized they were meant for bigger things in the second season. Also in this new season, we see more progress of characters, and even more involvement of characters who weren’t part of the plot in the first season.

And we’re still not any closer to finding out what happened at all. A lot of people are criticizing the producers of the show because after two seasons of this series, they aren’t tying in the biggest part of the plot, which is what happened to flight 828. Manifest needs to critique their writers and start throwing in some answers.

Manifest got renewed for a 3rd season and from what it looks like, it will be its last season. In this season, Manifest puts new clues to what happened to the 828 passengers. The new clues were that they found a piece of the plane, which was the tail fin. It was found in the ocean off the coast of Havana, Cuba.

The interesting part about that is Flight 828 was traveling from Jamaica to New York, so there is no way that the plane was anywhere near Cuba. Cal Stone, played by Jack Messina, is the son and youngest child in the Stone Family. He was also an 828 passenger. The plane disappeared in 2013 when Cal was 10 years old, but when he got back, he was still 10 years old and Cal had a twin who when he got back was 15 years old.

All the 828 passengers got “callings” but Cal’s visions are the most powerful and intense. He sees things that other passengers can’t. In the last season, Cal had a calling and said he saw three shadows that turned out to be three criminals who died but then came back just like the passengers on 828.

After looking more into the criminals and how they came back how the plane did, they discovered the criminal died after the time they were missing so all the passengers worried because if the criminals’ situation and the plane’s situation are related then that means all the passengers had 5 years before they died.

The season ended with a huge cliffhanger, earlier in season 3 the pilot of flight 828 went crazy to find out what happened, and he ended up running a simulation of the flight which was obtained by the flight plan. Eventually the pilot was shot out of the sky after failing to listen to the flight commands to land the plane, and was presumed dead, at the end of the season it shows the pilot and the plane flashes into a room and the pilot is alive.

So the pilot went missing and came once again and then the show ended leaving us wondering what happened. Hopefully the show gets renewed for another season because it was really interesting to watch, Although the acting is a little forced it was a good series to watch.
