Calling all nerds, once again, Comic Con LA has come and gone.

Comic Con is a massive and worldwide fan-gathering event were fans show their pride and big companies like Marvel, DC, Disney, and others show off new and exciting things to from their respective franchises, but it wouldn’t be Comic Con without the comics.

Some of the most legendary artists like Max Meyyem and Alex Ross attend to partake. This year, many paid tribute to the late Stan Lee who (fun fact) last year before his passing gave the convention it's title for the year, “Stan Lee’s LA Comic Con."

This year, there were a lot of announcements and surprises for attendees. We saw the likes of Kim Possible, The Office, Hellboy, Spongebob, and the 90s X-Men reunions, a Zombieland: Double Tap panel on the main stage, A Steven Universe panel, and cosplay contest for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and The Dark Crystal.

Some celebrities that came to Comic Con, like Tom Kenny and Bill Fagerbakke, the voices of Spongebob and Patrick respectively. Gerard Way, the creator of Umbrella Academy and former My Chemical Romance musician, and even Drake Bell, from fan favorite Drake and Josh and the voice of Peter Parker on Ultimate Spiderman.

Geeks and nerds of every species were excited to stay for the day's exclusive events. For more on this, check out the website here to see all the celebrities and scheduling for next years con. The events (other than Friday starting at 3pm) that were there start at around 10am and end at 6pm.

Some of the most memorable experiences for me was The Meet and Greet with the cast of The Mayas event. Another was the Hot Topic booth, which gave out exclusive Pop figures. It starts on Friday and ends on Sunday, so it's an all weekend deal. If you are interested or want to meet your favorite star, then I'd get your tickets for next year's right when they release.
