Important College Dates/Deadlines

9/29/2020For those of us who are seniors this year, the college application process can be scary and nerve-wracking. However, there are numerous resources available to guide us through the process and everything within. Many of us will be applying to CSU, UC, and private schools in California. Here are some important dates/deadlines to be aware of:
Filing period for FAFSA and Cal Grant Verification Form opens October 1, 2020
(open through March 2, 2021; deadline applies to any CA financial aid program).
CSU
Priority Application Filing Period: October 1, 2020 - December 4, 2020
You only need to submit ONE Cal State Apply application even if you are applying to multiple CSU campuses (note: EACH campus you apply to has a $70 fee; some students may qualify for an application fee waiver).
A fee waiver covers the application cost for up to four CSU campuses for qualified students who otherwise are unable to apply for admission.
Final High School Transcript Deadline: July 2021 (specific dates vary by campus)
UC
Admission Application Filing Period: November 1 - 30, 2020
The UC system does not offer applications for early admission or early decision.
All of the UC schools share a general application even if you are applying to multiple UC campuses (note: EACH campus you apply to has a $70 fee; some students may qualify for an application fee waiver).
A fee waiver covers the application cost for up to four CSU campuses for qualified students who otherwise are unable to apply for admission.
