Findspots:
Unknown examples of bricks from the dumped soil at TT 218, TT 298, and from the pit (tomb) no. 1106 of Deir el-Medina (Bruyère 1925: 104; Bruyère 1928: 109; Bruyère 1939: 24). It is worth noting that TT 298 was entirely constructed with these bricks, indicating that the bricks were in situ (Bruyère 1928: 88).
Remarks:
Ägyptisches Museum Berlin has one (21543. Roeder 1924: 530).
According to Vivó, the three bricks found at Deir el-Medina, # 676/B.49, # 677/B.50, and # 678/B.51, were sun-dried, while others were fired (Vivó 2022: 116).
This seal impression may have been stamped solely on the bricks, rather than the cones. Further information on this particular type can be found here.
