Remarks:
Unknown examples were reportedly offered for sale alongside # 25 (01-010 in Davies's notebook, 03-096 in Macadam's Red file).
The body of the sealings is uncommon and resembles that of a bone. Another cone of the same type, # 391, is also known to be from a period later than the New Kingdom.
The inscriptions do not mention the owner's own title but those of their ancestors, leaving it unclear whether this displays the owner's significant reverence for their forebears or refers to the genuine social accomplishments of their family. Regardless, the owner merited interment in Thebes.
