Remarks:
The ascribed owner is identical to that of # 143, # 156, and # 163.
The dimensions, design, findspots, and handwriting of # 143, # 156, # 163, and # 181 suggest that the maker of the four is the same and that they may have been created at the same time. The rationale behind the use of four distinct cones is evident; it is to acknowledge Amunemhat's titles that are mentioned in the four cones. It is also possible that, at least for the owner, the four titles were of equal importance and that he did not wish to omit any of them.
