Remarks:Â
The ascribed owner is identical with that of # 501.
The textual content of # 501 and # 651/B.24 is identical; however, the handwriting differs between the two, indicating that they were created by different individuals. The former was stamped on cones, whereas the latter appears to have been stamped exclusively on bricks. This suggests a possible division of labor, with one individual responsible for creating seals for cones and another for bricks. Nevertheless, the sequence in which these objects were created remains unknown.
One example is held by a private individual in Italy (Gallorini, Genovese, Lorenzini, Marchini, Grassi, Sanseverino, and Bresciani 1990 [EVO 13]: 74, 76-77). The authors of this article mistakenly identify the cone as # 501 (Ibid. 74.).
This seal impression may have been stamped solely on the bricks, rather than the cones. Further information on this particular type can be found here.
