Remarks:
As demonstrated here, this seal impression has a rectangular outline, but it is stamped on a circular face (Davies MSS in the Griffith Institute).
The relief block housed in the Luxor Museum (inv. no. J.136) may have belonged to our Nebnefer. It was discovered at Dahamscha and dated to the reign of Amunhotep III (Eichler 2000: 290). Another object that may have belonged to Nebnefer is the votive monument found at Armant. A certain Nebnefer is shown adoring the name of Amunhotep III and the god Sobek. Accompanying texts reveal that he held the titles of 'wab, jmj-rA pr-HD n jmn', 'Hrj-sStA n sbk', 'wab, sS xtmtj-nTr n jmn', and 'wab n jmn'. Also included were the details of his parents: jmj-rA st m at jrp, sS sbk-Htp and nbt pr DAwf (Bakry 1971 [MDAIK 27]: 138-140, Taf. XXX and XXXI).
