Findspots:
One from TT 13 (01-141 in Davies's notebook).
One from TT 48 (01-141 in Davies's notebook).
One from TT 179 (01-141 in Davies's notebook).
Two from TT 181 (01-141 in Davies's notebook. These may be the ones now preserved in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, 15.10.19, 15.10.20. According to Roehrig, the MMA mission found two examples on the southern slope of the Khokah hill, the area containing TT 179, TT 181, and TT 182. During the 1914-1915 field season, another example was found in tomb MMA 830, located behind the Metropolitan House. Roehrig assumes that 15.10.19 is the one. Roehrig 2020: 1371-1373, 1377-1378).
Two from TT 253 (01-141 in Davies's notebook).
Unknown examples from TT 32 (Kákosy 1994: 31).
Two from near TT 253 (Strudwick and Strudwick 1996: 104, 130, 155).
Remarks:
Macadam and Vivó assigned this cone to TT 64, the tomb of Heqaerneheh (05-095 in Macadam's DALEX file 1 and 06-102 & 110 in his DALEX file 2. Vivó also assigns # 98 to TT 64. Vivó 2002: 24, Vivó 2022: 244-246), probably because they have the same titles and their names are similar in form to each other. However, the discovery site is far from TT 64, and there is no evidence that Heqaerneheh was ever called Nesuterneheh. I have personally examine the cone housed in the British Museum (BM: EA 15975) and found that the sign in question is none other than 'nswt (M 23 of Gardiner's sign-list)'.
