The owner may be the same man as that of # 586.
Both Davies and Macadam say that cones # 116 and # 586 are said to come from a trader at Qurnet Murai, and that they are almost certainly forged (01-086 in Davies's notebook and 04-094 in Macadam's Green file).
Pernigotti shows 'n ka' signs at the bottom of the second line (Pernigotti 1994: Tav. IV).
Helck suggested to read the second line 'jmj-rA pr n Hwt-jmn', or 'Hwt-jmn-Htp' (Helck 1959: 371).
Piccione suggests to read 'Ray [mAa-xrw] Htp di nsw.t Wsir Hm-nTr tpy imy-rA pr nbw [Hw.t]-Imn-[Ra] Ray mAa-xrw' and to translate it as 'R‘ay, justified. An offering which the king gives <to> Osiris, the First Prophet, Overseer of the Gold-house of the Temple of Amun-[Ra], R‘ay, justified' (Piccione 2017: 269 and 271). He insists that this cone has belonged to TT 72 Ra (based on the similarity of the name and titles) and he leaves aside the possibility that this cone is a forgery (he does not mention # 586).
