The ascribed owner is identical to that of # 538.
The reason for Qen possessing two types of cones is uncertain. Findspots data indicate that # 538 was discovered in Dra Abul Naga, whereas # 539 was located in TT 59 along with its neighboring tomb, TT 60. This suggests that Qen may have had two distinct tombs, and each set of cones was crafted for one of the two tombs, respectively. Furthermore, the distinct inscription styles of the two cones suggest that they were produced by different craftsmen.
