Findspots:
One from TT 76 (01-190 in Davies's notebook).
One (this cone or # 342) from TT 16 and some from the same area (Habachi 1981: 112 n. 1).
Remarks:
The ascribed owner is identical to that of # 342. He also had titles HAtj-a n njwt rsjt, jmj-rA Snwtj [n jmn?] (Lepsius 1849-1859 [Tafel III]: 58).
The inscription on both cones, # 342 and # 343, is almost identical, as is the size and the design. It can be concluded that the maker of the two cones is the same, and that they were created at the same time. However, the reason for the need for two almost identical cones remains unclear. This is a matter for further investigation.
The seal impression appears on a circular face.
