Findspots:
Two (MMA 15.10.12 and 15.10.13) from TT 181 (According to Roehrig, the MMA mission led by Davies initially discovered 30 examples on the southern slope of the Khokah hill, which is not limited to TT 181 but includes the area of TT 179, TT 181, and TT 182. Roehrig 2020: 1374).
11 from TT 32 (Leclant and Clerc 1989 [Orientalia 58]: 389).
Three from TT 47 area (Kondo 2017, October 29).
Remarks:
The cone 15.10.13 in the Metropolitan Museum of Art features a circular dent at the centre of its face (bottom. See also 'Image Gallery' section below). A comparable example, 993X2.79, is housed in the Royal Ontario Museum and is # 332. The halls on both cones appear to have been created by ancient Egyptians, rather than by later generations. This is indicated by the fact that the surface inside each hall is also painted white, like the cones' faces.
