Length: --

Findspots:
One from TT 20 (Davies 1913a: 5).
One from Dra Abul Naga (Heyler 1959 [Kêmi 15]: 87 n. 2).
Two from 'Areal H' in Dra Abul Naga (Kruck 2012: 128).
Remarks:
The cone is hollow, but unlike # 138, # 139, and # 215, it was not made on a wheel due to the coarse inner wall (cf. INV:10177 preserved in the Bolton Museum). For more information on hollow cones, refer to # 134 and # 406.
Vivó thinks that the internal cavities of # 139, # 406, and # 550 were likely accidental rather than intentional (Vivó 2022: 16, n. 7).
It is possible that the royal scribe named Iy, who is mentioned in the stele C 76, dated to the reign of Amunhotep III, in the Louvre, is identical to the cone owner (cf. Lieblein 1871: 295 (915); Pierret 1878: 13-14).
