Findspots:
Unknown examples probably from the Omda's house near TT 47 (01-224 in Davies's notebook).
One from Qurnet Murai (01-224 in Davies's notebook).
Remarks:
The ascribed owner is identical to that of # 487, # 513, and # 543.
Davies bought this cone as well as # 513 (01-224 in Davies's notebook).
The inscriptions on all four cones suggest that they were probably created by the same individual and thus around the same period. These cones have distinct titles and do not share any common titles. Therefore, it seems that Abemusekhet sought to display all of their titles on the cones, which may explain why he had as many as four cones.
This seal impression may have only been stamped on the pyramids or the prisms, not on the cones (cf. The one housed at Museu Egipci, Barcelona). The same may also be true for cones # 341, # 590, # 592, and # 599.
