Remarks:
A stela of a certain Nebenkemet, who was also the standard bearer of the royal boat "Khaemmaat", is dated into the reign of Amunhotep III (cf. Schulman 1962: 242; inv. no. E 11696 housed in the Oriental Institute, Chicago). Another stela for Meryptah, a standard bearer of the 'Khaemmaat', AE_INV_89, in the Kunsthistorisches Museum is also dated to the same period (Schulman 1963 [JARCE 2]). For other objects mentioning the boat, see Jones 1988: 237.
Saaset's parents were identified as a Standard-bearer of the boat 'Meryamun', Hatmesha, and a mistress of a house, Kaemniutes, in a stela (JE 49113) discovered by Mond at Qurna in 1924. According to Gaballa (Gaballa 1987 [ASAE 71]: 89-94), Hatmesha had served during the reign of Thutmose IV, and Saaset had served during the reign of Amunhotep III.
