Findspots:
One from TT 87 (Guksch 1995: 120).
Three from TT 47 area (Kondo 2017, October 29. According to Kondo et al. 2016 November & Kondo et al. 2017: 53, however, three).
Remarks:
The ascribed owner is identical to that of # 55.
While # 452 only mentions that Meryremetjef had three inconspicuous titles, # 55 mentions his proud title, which indicates that he was close to the HPA. Furthermore, # 55 contains more formal text than # 452, as it begins with 'jAxy xr Asjr'. Additionally, # 55 states that he had a wife. These circumstances lead me to suggest that he first had # 452 and then, after his promotion, he obtained # 55. According to the find spots data, the majority of the # 452 was discovered in the Khokhah area, whereas all examples of # 55 were found exclusively in the upper enclosure of the Qurna area. This may indicate that when he was bearing the titles which were given on the # 452, his tomb was cut at Khokhah. However, due to the unexpected promotion, he became a captain of sailors of the first prophet of Amun and decided to cut the new tomb at Qurna.
