Length: 22.5 cm (BM: EA 62735). Size of EA 35627: 21 x 20 x 5.5cm (BM: EA 35627) or 8 x 7.5 x 2.5in.? (01-087 in Davies's notebook).

Findspots:
One from TT 82 (01-088 in Davies's notebook and 04-091 in Macadam's Green file).
Many from the court of Heqanefer that is said to be located to the north of TT 99 (01-088 in Davies's notebook and 04-091 in Macadam's Green file).
Several examples which are closely resemble to # 44 were from the shaft of TT 82 (Davies and Gardiner 1915: 2).
Two of # 42, # 43, and/or # 44 from TT 97 (Mond and Emery 1929 [AAA 16]: 53).
One from TT 87 (Guksch 1995: 120).
Two from TT 99 (Strudwick and Strudwick 2016: 53).
One brick from TT 84 and K-453- area (Loprieno-Gnirs 2021: 77; 159, n. 58).
Remarks:
This seal has a rectangular outline stamped on a circular face (cf. CAA 1991: # 3095; Davies MSS in the Griffith Institute).
The museum's database says that # BM 35627 preserved in the British Museum is a brick with this seal impression (cf. # 35627 in the database), but Davies and Macadam say it is # 43 (01-087 in Davies's notebook and 04-092 in Macadam's Green file).
The dimensions, design, findspots, textual content and inscription style of # 42 and # 43 suggest that the maker of the two is the same and that they were created at the same time. The rationale behind the use of two distinct cones is evident; it is to acknowledge both of Amunemhat's two titles, jmj-rA Hmw-nTr nw Smaw mHw and jrj-rdwj n nb tAwj.
