Remarks:
This cone was first mentioned by Murnane (Murnane 1976 [GM 19]).
A lintel slab was found at Serabit el-Khadim in Sinai which refers to a man named Iamu who held the title 'jrj-pat hAtj-a xtmw-bjtj smr watj mn-mrwt m pr-nswt jmj-rA xtmt (hereditary noble, seal-bearer of the king of Lower Egypt, sole companion, firm in love in the king’s house, overseer of the seal)' (Gardiner and Peet 1952: Pl. LVI; Gardiner and Peet 1955: 149). It is very likely that both Iamu are the same person, because the name is extremely rare and the titles are identical.
The Oriental Institute Museum in Chicago, has one example (OIM 25624).
