Remarks:
It appears that # 95 was inscribed by an expert scribe, while # 121 and # 247 were inscribed by a less skilled individual. Regardless, the handwriting of all three cones suggests that the maker of them is a different individual to each other. Regarding the order of the making of the two cones, it is unclear. Furthermore, the reason for the need for three is also unclear. These are matters for further investigation.
The elder brother of the cone owner is Neferhotep, who owns # 301, 302, and # 359. This is evident since he occurs on the wall of the TT 345 along with his wife Amunhotep (Lepsius 1849–1859 [LD Taf. III]: 9; Sethe 1906 [Urk IV: II]: 106).
