Findspots:
One from Ramesseum and is now stored in the Penn Museum (Acc. no. E1964).
Two bricks from the temple of Amunhotep II (Sesana 2012 [Memnonia 23]: 242-244, Pl. LX).
Remarks:
Spiegelberg published this as a seal impression stamped on a brick (Spiegelberg 1898: 15, Pl. 11). It appears to be the same object that is currently stored in the Penn Museum.
The tomb A. 10 was re-discovered by the 'Proyecto Djehuty' lead by J. M. Galán in 2015 (cf. report of the team).
The ascribed owner is identical to that of # 516.
The inscription on both # 516 and # 654/B.27 is identical, though the former was stamped only on cones, while the latter was stamped only on bricks. It is not possible to determine with certainty whether the maker of the two cones is the same, or whether they were created at the same time. Furthermore, the reason for the need for two types of seal impressions remains unclear. This is a matter for further investigation.
This seal impression might have been stamped only on the bricks, not on the cones. For more about the same type, visit here.
