Magic has Certain advantages over Tech Weapons
Psionics has certain benefits versus Magic
Tech Weapons & certain Metals have plusses versus Psionics. see This
Electrical attacks do extra damage to Cybernetic wearers. (D4 at 1 bit, D6 at 2, etc)
Miniatures used in the game will be Epic Scale, aka 6mm, Micro-armor, or 1/285th.
So many of the feats and features of the game, such as Cleave, 5ft-Step, Spring-Attack,etc won't mean as much.
Again, the average vehicle is a diesel truck.
Cheapest Smallest Mech costss 250,000gp, the largest well-equipped ones can top 62 million g.p.
MORE 3.5 RULES MODS:
Future Player's Companion: New Feats p24, Cybernetics p46 & 104 but not TCR, Nanocolonies, p59, Mutations p61.
D2O Past: Most all of this is good. Especially the Scientist.
Redline: all of this is okay, but the Creep only exists up north in the Scar. Not the vehicle rules.
D20 Apocalypse: This is almost all good, but again, the rads are in the Scar.
If it matters, Iuz is like Atomic Sunrise, Blackmoor is like Inheritors, with the Barrens and the Barren Waste Mtns. resembling Plague World.
D20 Cyberspace: most of this is great. Our item limit is 1 + your CON bonus. Each cybernetic device after that gains you a negative level.
Items also cost XP to implant as well as money. Not the gadget system. Cyberspace does not exist, nor an Internet.
URBAN ARCANA :
Shadow is: Tainted Ones from the Pos tApoc part of the Daemon Scar-Lands (Blackmoor?)
New Feats OK Prestige Classes OK (Mystic is a spontaneous Divine caster, but less religious than Psalmist)
Items, Equip & Spells Okay,
Organizations Mainly Exist in the Great Kingdom due to its Corruption
Ancient Shadow City of Rauxes = Wretched Hive
Mystic Sites and Ley Lines: Over the ancient sites of Dungeons (Tharizdun, Tamoachan, Castle Gr.,Barrier Peaks, etc)
EXP.PSI.HBK:
All good on Feats, Classes, Races, Abilities, Items, etc.
Pg 53: on Psi Versus Wizardry. {{Metal Trumps Psi which trumps Wizardry which trumps Metal}}
Psi Power Resist is 150% when used as Magic Resistance. Magic Resistance is 50% when used as Psi Resistance.
Magic has the spells to Disable Device, psi does not.
Dispel Magic is 50% versus Psi, Dispel Psionics can be used at 150% versus magic effects.
Plusses of Metallic armors count into all saves versus Psi effects.
Anti-magic only diminishes Psi by 50%.
Wizardry here means all spells, divine, arcane, bardic, spontaneous, etc.
Dispel Magic, Detect Magic, Negate Magic, etc all work at only 50% range, effectiveness, area, etc. versus Psionics.
Dispel Psi, Detect Psi, Negate Psi, etc Boost to 150% range, effectiveness, area, etc. versus magical effects
A common alloy of Tin, Copper, Gold, and Vanadium can block psi, +1 per eighth inch.
Armors of Cold Iron, Adamantium, and Mithril also benefit versus Psi attacks.
Brain Moles, Thought Eaters, Gray Gluttons, etc. can derive 25% of their nourishment equivalence from magical beings.
D20 ARSENAL:
Feats Ok, Spells Ok, Prestige Ok, Firearms of Course.
Add Anti-Psi screen to Armor Types. Add Delimiter to Devastator type firearms, as if Psi were an alignment.
D20 FACTORY:
Computers are usually limited to Radars, Cell Phone, Radio units, TV Sets, Technomages, Artillery, Psi-Crafters, & Gnomes.
They are not the common as a desktop, tablet, kindle, xbox, etc as we have today.
Info is largely still handled by scribes, servants, clerks, etc. The only person who'd be sitting at a desk playing tetris would be a gnome.
D2O Future: Almost all of it. But not the gadgets. Not the aliens. Not starships or videophones, holograms or teleporters. Not robotics.
Mecha Crusade, Nuclear Nomad, more appropriate than other scenarios.
Not Gadgets, Any Progress Level avail, but 8-9 only from the Dwarves. Yes ansibles.
Not Gene Therapy, nor Matter replication.Not starships, nor space fighters, nor robots.Nor Aliens or Xenos.
Teleporters exist, but are wonky and frowned upon. Magic Teleport is 10x safer.Same with Dim. and Time travel.
Nanite Limit is One, Two at 18 Con, Three with Cybernetic Enabler.
