BATTLE-HAWK-3000

Battle-Hawk-3OOO

On the world of Greyhawk, far in the future, after the Events of Greyhawk 2000 in Dragon Mag277.

The age of Steam still strides like a giant across the chronology of Greyhawk.

A thousand years ago, the invention of the printing press, the steam engine, the ansible, and black powder,

and the dimension gates revolutionized warfare, societies, and the very map.

Now in the Reckoning of 3013, a new surge of technology threatens the long stable status quo.

the Dwarves long had the monopoly on metallurgy, and either made the largest land-engines, or made

mockeries of the nations who copied theirs. Now it appears that stable designs have been pirated,

and many nations are fielding war engines of vast size, and seek to outdo each other in the settlement of trade negotiations.

Campaign Prospectus

BATTLE-MECHS

of GREYHAWK

in the YEAR 3OOO

The old ways seems to be vanishing everywhere. Some nations of men do not purchase the goods made by the dwarves. Almost no elves use technology, and if it were not for the aid of the gods, steam-tech might ruin the entire Flannaes.

Large Land Engines, some for industry, some for defense, but of course some for plunder & carnage.

The ancient sphere of Greyhawk has convulsed with wars past and ancient, but will new problems find a solution or a worsening?

DM Questions: DM NOTES

TEAM PLACEMENT ? What will they do and who do they work for ?

JOB SLOTS What type of PCs will be needed ?

RACES, the usual, plus Draconians and Thri-Kreen, but probably not Halflings or Elves due to tech politics.

Magic balances differently with its new foe tech, and its old foe, psionics.
