Course Description and Goals:
This course is aimed at providing a review in parameter identification procedures in groundwater hydrology and an examination of computational techniques used to solve the inverse problem. Derive the relation between the simulation models and the optimization techniques, and prepare students to do the sensitivity analysis and experimental design for the parameter identification. Emphasize on using popular commercial software for inverse problem.
