It is better but not subject to that participating students have had some realization in air transportation already.
Course Description and Goals:
This course would like to introduce and discuss some deeper topics in air cargo transportation. It aims to widen students’ view for the environment, management and operation in air cargo services. It is hoped to help students to find some topics of future studies. This course uses EMI.
The introduced topics of this course include:
(a)Economies and policies of air cargo transportation
(b)Air cargo service networks
(c)Management of airlines in air cargo
(d)Management of air cargo terminal and warehouse.
Schedule Type:
(a)paper review and discussion are the main part of this course
(b)Visiting air cargo warehouse
(c)Preview and review response in each week prior to start of class
(d)Topic assignment for homework and term paper.

Week 1: Introduction
Week 2 to 6: Economies and policies of air cargo transportation
Week 7 to 9: Air cargo service networks
Week 10 to 14: Management of airlines in air cargo
Week 15 to 17: Management of air cargo terminal and warehouse
Week 18: Oral report of term papers
