Objective:
The aims of this module are to: understand the concept of strategic management and implication in ports, the strategies and problems involved in international port operations and management, strengthen students knowledge of principles via discussions and reading of port related journal papers and case studies.

Teaching Method:
Lectures supplemented by activities such as tutorials, assignment, seminar, and presentations. Students are expected to read the relevant materials before lectures. In case of any learning issues, students are welcome to contact the instructors.
