The guest speaker for our MARA Meeting is Earnest Lacey, a Memphis author of Free Joe, The Search for Free Joe, and Hinton Street: From Memphis To Chicago. His stories are from over 200 years of his family’s history. Copy of his latest book will be given as a door prize.
Jackson Hamfest
The Jackson hamfest was awesome and we were able to sell several items of estate equipment. We do have some equipment left, check with Dennis or Tony for inventory.
FreeFest Update
We are now 100% full.
Several regulars told us at Jackson that they were coming.
Prizes are starting to come in and it looks like we will have another good year.
Save your bucks for FreeFest!
Please inform Tony of any donations of prizes as soon as possible.
Need to advertise and start working on ticket layout of prizes.
