MARA Minutes from June 7 Meeting
Meeting was at St. James Catholic Church 4189 Leroy Avenue, Memphis, TN
Meeting started at 7:02
Had 18 present. Including all board members, couple of guests, 2 humptys, and at least one Democrat

Talked about patches. Kanschat and Foster working on getting quote from LeBonheur patch maker. Schlichter had quote from scout patch maker and will send it on to Foster. Schlichter felt scout vendor may be cheaper. Brignole wants to explore tattoo artist for those that are more serious.
John Parish reported CD of 26,021 came due in May and he rolled it over to new one with 0.85 interest. John mentioned Regions is charging us too much for account. He will look around. Brignole recommended ALLY internet bank and will send info to John.
We mentioned that we had received donation of 3 late model Kenwood UHF repeaters from LeBonheur. We thanked Kanschat Rick for his help in securing this fantastic donation. Foster mentioned that we planned to do a detailed inventory of all club repeater assets and then have a planning meeting to decide a future plan.
Foster also mentioned we had 2 upcoming items; an antenna take down in north Shelby Co. and a tower climb at KNO to check out and repair bad repeater antennas.
Program was lots of discussion about Field Day. We discussed clean up and where to set stations and how many stations would be operating. Rubin, Knight, Krause will set up logging network. Morris, Schlichter, and Foster will help with food. All will help with setup. Set up start times were 4 pm Friday and Saturday 8am.
Had Pizza and cokes and then straightened and cleaned up building
Official meeting adjourned at 7:24 pm cleanup continued for another hour or so
