The topic is a surprise. We are working on a couple of topics but haven’t firmed either of them up so it will be a surprise.

Jackson Hamfest

The Jackson hamfest was great and we were able to sell some of our old repeaters stuff. We made a total of $335 and paid for one table so the net was $315.

We still have several repeaters to sell and two Astron power supplies. One is a 50 amp rack mount and the other is a 35 amp with meters. One of the meters is broken and will have to be replaced. If you are interested in any of these items please contact me for more details. Active club members get first choice.

FreeFest Update

We are now 100% full. Several regulars told us at Jackson that they were coming. Prizes are starting to come in and it looks like we will again have a good slate.

We should have some really good full line discount vendors this year. Save your bucks for FreeFest.

We have been asked to host the Delta Division Convention and are working on setting it up and getting the proper approvals. We will probably host some type of social function on Friday night and will keep you posted. At least one visitor from ARRL headquarters in Newington will come and we are working with David Norris to determine who to officially invite.

Our old ticket printer for FreeFest tickets has gone bankrupt. We need a new printer. If any of you have a suggestion please let me know.
