MARA Nets
MARA sponsors two nets:
The Elmer Net takes place on Sunday evenings at 9:00 p.m. on the 444.175 repeater, the alternate frequency is 145.210, both with a 107.2 Hz tone.
The Super Niner Net 900 MHz Net takes place on Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. on the 927.6125 repeater with a 146.2 Hz tone.
All hams (MARA members and non-members) are encouraged to call one of the nets. It is good training. You cannot screw up one of these simple nets and there are plenty of folks to help you step by step if you get nervous. Just let the net coordinators know if you would like to call it, and use the preamble (links are below) as a guide. Click on Super Niner Net or the Elmer Net link at the bottom of this page to go to the printable preamble.
Contact Dennis Foster (KJ4BDU - kj4bdu@arrl.net) if you would like to call a net session or have any questions.
