Alert!!!! I am recovering from a major computer crash and things are squirrely as hell right now. This news letter is being done on an old laptop until my new desktop gets here and I can configure it. Please pass the word and if you send me something make sure you get an acknowledgement. I am also having trouble accessing our web page and other stuff.
February Meeting
The Program will by Michael Knight and Dennis Foster on Echolink.
Michael has been instrumental in putting Echolink on our 444.175 repeater at LeBonheur. Several folks have been using it and made some interesting contacts. Dennis has installed it onto his tablet and used it mobile. Michael and Dennis will show us how to use it and some of the things you can do with it.

New Post Office Box 343358
As you can see from above we now have a new Post Office Box in the Bartlett Post Office. We moved the box from the Hickory Hill post office so it would be closer to us. The new box is 343358 at zip 38134.
FreeFest 2014
FreeFest is Saturday April 12, 2014. from 9 am to 3 pm at the Bartlett Station Municipal Center.
Several folks told us at the Jackson Hamfest that they were coming to FreeFest and we are very close to being full. As soon as I get the new desktop working I will get out a status update but we are very close to 100%; if not a little over at this time
Jackson Hamfest
Jackson was great and some of us got rid of some junk. My prize purchase was a window mounted heat exchanger [air conditioner]. Mary is still trying to understand how I bought a window air conditioner at a hamfest. I told her don’t ask, but $20 for a 110V, 7,000 BTU unit in very good shape seemed like a good deal at the time.
