Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All! ! !

The December meeting will be the annual Christmas Dinner/party. We will meet at Coletta’s Restaurant at 6:00 pm and order off the menu so all can get whatever they want.

It is customary to exchange gifts so we ask you to bring at least one gift for each person in your party. More are better. Last year we went through the list at least twice. Gifts should be anything you would like to receive. Gifts are best unisex but if they are sex specific then please note it on the box or bag. We try to limit them to under $10. Generally things in the $5 range work well.

Jackson Hamfest

The Jackson Ms, Capital City Hamfest is January 25 & 26 . I have a flea market table and will be going down on Friday [Jan.-25] around noon and returning Saturday afternoon. If you would like to ride down I may have room for 1 or 2 depending on who is going. Let me know if you are interested.

FreeFest April 13, 2013.

I will get the notification letter out in early December so reservations should start coming in pretty quick. Last year by Jan 1 we were about 70% full. I’ll keep you posted. We are again soliciting prizes and I have asked the folks at LeBonheur for help. Hopefully we can get some great prizes again this year. The new I-Pad would be a great grand prize. If you would like to donate or have suggestions please let me know. We continue to keep our eyes out for a different venue but Bartlett is hard to beat. If you get any Leeds please let me know.
