Meeting Change Time

Our April meeting has been moved up one week earlier due to FreeFest. The April meeting will be on Thursday, March 30^th at our normal location at the police precinct .

Our normal meeting would have been on Thursday, April 6. This is the night before FreeFest setup and that is an extremely busy time so we moved the meeting up one week to avoid the last minute rush.

Program for Next Meeting

We also have a special guest for our program this month. Kyle Schreiner is a member of the Naval Special Warfare unit and is currently serving as a fire team leader with Seal Team 3. Kyle will complete his latest training in late summer of this year and then be deployed.

Kyle will tell us about his training and how he got into the Seal program. He will also cover the types of training seals receive and some of the types of missions they are assigned. Obviously, there may be some questions that he cannot answer but he will try to take your questions. This should be an interesting meeting.

I told Kyle that we had many veterans in the club; no seals, but several walruses.

FreeFest Updates

We are slightly over 100% full inside as I was able to squeeze in another table. In addition to being full inside we will have MTC set up outside in the parking lot with their trailer.

The flea market is also very near full at this point.

Please sell prize tickets to those who will not be at FreeFest and then buy plenty for yourself. This is shaping up to be our largest FreeFest ever.

All tickets not sold and the money for tickets sold will be turned in at Freefest, April 8, 2017, at ticket purchase area.
