“Jeles’ Yummy Keto Taco Pie filling”

Ingredients

*Makes TWO 9’ Pie Dishes *

2 lbs of ground beef

2 mild sausage links

2 hot sausage links

*1/2 Pepper (cut up Small pieces)

*1/2 Red Onion (cut up Small pieces)

*10-12 mushrooms (cut up small pieces)

1/4 cup of grated Parmesan

8 Oz Shredded Mozzarella (for the Top)

Fresh Parsley (optional)

2 tablespoons of Butter

1 tbsp of Minced Garlic

Salt (to taste)

Pepper (to taste)

2 Dashes of Hot Sauce (optional)

1 tsp of Mrs. Dash (salt free)

1 tsp Goya Adobo

1 tsp Paprika

Instructions

In a large bowl place meat and add the seasonings. (Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Goya Adobo, Mrs. Dash salt free, Paprika) stir meat mixture together with a spoon

Instructions Part II

In a frying pan or a *cast iron pan *(that’s what I always use) add butter, over medium heat.

*Once butter is melted add your peppers, mushrooms and onion to the pan and saute...(2-3 minutes or until soft)

Then add meat small portions at a time, stirring and cooking everything together.

**This is when I would add my Hot Sauce**

Once completely cooked pull off burner.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan to meat mixture and stir.

Take a spoon and pull the meat mixture and leave the liquid. Place meat mixture only in the already baked Taco Pie Dish (See recipe for the Pie Crust in the “Notes” Section on my page)

(I added fresh Parsley to the top of my meat mixture prior to adding the Cheese)

Top off with Shredded Mozzarella

Instructions Part III

Preheat Oven to 350*

Place Both pie dishes on the top shelve of your oven.

Bake for 20 minutes until the top is to your liking.

Let Cool 10 minutes

TOPPINGS

Iceberg Lettuce (Chop up lettuce fine)

Salsa ** (I add a layer of Salsa to my Pie first then I add the chopped lettuce)

Top off with a dollop of Sour-cream!
