Jeles' Sourdough French Baguettes "Keto Style"

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Almond Flour (Anthony's)

1/2 cup of coconut flour (Anthony's)

1 tbsp Baking soda

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1 teaspoon of Mrs Dash (Herb salt free)

1/3 cup of psyllium husk powder (I use Anthony's)

1/2 cup Flax meal packed

1 tsp sea salt

6 Egg whites

2 large Eggs

3/4 cup of Almond milk

1/4 cup of organic apple cider vinegar

1 cup of lukewarm water

1/2 tbsp of fresh squeezed lemon juice

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350

Line 2 baking sheet with parchment paper or 1 large baking sheet

In a large bowl, stir together all the dry ingredients

In a separate medium bowl mix the 6 eggs whites, 2 eggs and almond milk

I use my Kitchen Aide (You can use any electric mixer).

Important: Combine dry ingredients with egg mixture only and mix

Now add vinegar, water and fresh squeezed lemon juice

Mix until well combined (do NOT over mix)

Using a spoon, form 4 baguettes (I use my hands to form them... (they work better ;) on each of the baking sheets

They will rise so leave a space between each....

Take a knife and make 4 cuts on top of the dough

Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes ~watch them rise :) ~

Middle rack of the oven :)

Then you want to reduce the temp to 300* and bake for another 30-45 minutes (mind you each oven is different)

NOTE: When you have 5 minutes left on your timer~ pull out of oven and brush with melted butter and place back in the oven up the temp to 375* for 2-3 minutes so it will get a golden brown (careful not to burn them)

Remove from oven do not touch them, let them cool for about 10-15 minutes

SLICE, SERVE and ENJOY!!!
