VICTOR'S IRON SKILLET PIZZA CASSEROLE, BY JELES

INGREDIENTS:

1 tbsp avocado oil

1/2 Red onion, diced

6-8 mushrooms, cleaned and sliced (optional)

1 green bell pepper, cleaned and diced

½ pound Hot Italian Sausage

½ pound Mild Italian Sausage

1 pound Ground beef

Marinara (see my recipe) or you can buy a Jar of Marinara (just check the back of the ingredients)

2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan

30 slices Pepperoni

1/4 Cup sliced black olives

2 tsp garlic (minced)

1 ½ Italian Seasoning

1 ½ tsp Mrs Dash Herb (salt free)

Salt & Pepper to taste


INSTRUCTIONS:

In a large cast iron skillet over medium heat, sauté your onions, mushrooms and green peppers in the avocado oil (5 minutes )

Add in your sausage and ground beef, Mrs. Dash, garlic, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste chopping and stirring until brown

Drain all the grease from the meat and discard

Add in Marinara Sauce,(see recipe at www.jeleszinhasjourney.com)

stirring to combine then flatten the top with a wooden spoon

Add both the cheeses to cover the top, followed by a solid layer of pepperoni

Add the sliced olives

Place the iron skillet in oven on high broil to brown the top (5 minutes, keep an eye on it)
