You can duplicate an existing Elevation, to do this refer to CREATE A COPY OF A VIEW or SCHEDULE.
Or you can create a brand new Elevation.
Creating an Elevation (whether new or duplicated) will place a reference that will appear in all views.
However if a working Elevation is used the reference won't appear in views that are on sheets.
As these are working elevation views you can use the same method for external building and internal wall elevations.
Under View tab select Elevation.
Place the elevation facing the direction you want.
Note that elevations align themselves with walls. You may need to place the elevation anywhere you can to get it facing the right way, then move it afterwards.
If you can't get the elevation marker to face the right direction or angle:
Escape (ESC key) out of the command.
Draw a wall at the angle you want.
Place the elevation again.
Delete the wall afterwards.
Once placed select the pointer (not the circle) of the elevation reference.
You can adjust the depth and width of the elevation by picking the control grips and dragging them.
You can also move where the elevation cuts by moving the blue line that goes through the reference.
While the elevation reference is selected the view's properties will be display in the Properties window.
In the Properties window:
Rename the view with a prefix of X-yourintitals_ - (e.g. X-AW_East Elev).
Also change Sheet Series.SH parameter to working.
Next change the floor plan type to Working.
Click on the triangle to right in top box of Properties window.
Select working.
The Callout reference may disappear if you created it in a view that is on a sheet.
However you will find in the Project Browser under working:
which is why it is important to ALWAYS NAME THE VIEWS YOU CREATE.
When you go to the elevation view you may need to adjust it Crop Box.
Select the box around the elevation, pick a control grip and move it to adjust the extents of the view.
