PROBLEM:
Question marks (?) are appearing on printed sheets.
CAUSE:
When a tag contains a parameter that is blank it shows it as a question mark.
This question mark prints.
SOLUTION:
A quick way to fix the problem is to put a full stop or dash in the parameter. Blank spaces don't do anything.
Click on the question mark to edit the parameter.
The proper way to fix it is to edit the tag family.
There are two ways to solve the problem.
1. Add a visibility parameter to labels.
Click on a label.
Click on the button on right side of its Visibility parameter.
Select Add parameter.
Type a descriptive name in (e.g. Show Area).
Make it a Type parameter.
Click OK.
Next create different Types with various visibility parameters turned off and on.
(e.g. Show All, No Area, etc).
The disadvantage of this method is that there will be blank lines where there are empty parameters.
2. Place multiple parameters in the same label.
Edit a label.
Add in all the parameters you need.
The advantage of this method is that there will be no blank lines where there are empty parameters.
