COPY AND PASTE FORMULA RESULTS
A trick in Excel is to create new values using formulas, typically acting on values in other cells.
For example you could add "PLAN " before names of LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2, LEVEL 3 etc.
To do this you create a formula in a blank cell that produces the value you want (e.g. "PLAN LEVEL 1").
Then copy the formula down (or up, or across) to get new values for other cells.
Select all of the new values.
Copy (Ctrl C).
Place the cursor in the top cell of the cells you want to change.
From Home tab, Paste > Paste Values.
Then delete the cells that you placed the formulas in.
IMPORT TEXT DATA
Revit exports schedules as tab delimited text files.
These can not only be imported in to Excel, the data will automatically update when the text file is updated.
