By writing code it is possible to extract data (e.g. line beginning and end points) from a Rhino file, and use that data to create objects in Revit.
Revit has an add-in called Dynamo which is very similar to Grasshopper. Dynamo has a plug-in (called a ‘package’) named Rhynamo that provides commands that directly read Rhino files. Both are free. Dynamo is available from the Autodesk App store or at http://dynamobim.com/.
The workflow is to create a Dynamo project in Revit that reads data directly from a Rhino file. Dynamo then uses the data from Rhino to create Revit objects. All this can be set up to be real time. A change in Rhino instantly flows through to change Revit.
As this process deals with individual elements it is best suited to situations where Rhino is being used to define geometry, with only the objects that define geometry being linked.

Note the elements being imported from Rhino could easily be created in Revit.
