CREATING MATERIAL SCHEDULES

MATERIAL SCHEDULES

Material schedules are created by making Material Takeoff schedules.

Select Multi-category as the category type.

Select fields to add only from parameters stating with Material:

Under Sorting/Grouping sort by Mark.

Untick Itemize every instance.

Filter as required.

Change Formatting and Appearance as required.

This schedule will list every material used in the project.

If you want a schedule that only shows materials that are tagged on a sheet you need a Material Legend.

MATERIAL LEGEND

Keynote legends only show what has been tagged on views contain on a sheet.

If you use this method make sure materials are ONLY tagged using keynote tags throughout the project.
